One of the main drivers in terms of CO2 reduction is downsizing engine size and weight in all components in the engine compartment. In order to provide the end customer adequate engine power and dynamics, use of turbo injection is inevitable. Our high precision parts and low friction sealing solutions (Meldin® poppet seal, shield pot, damping washer, bearing and Rulon® seals) allow our customers to design best fit components in their application and reduce a component’s weight and size. With high precision, injection molding capabilities of high temperature polymers as well as system selling capabilities, we are able to provide sub-assemblies and reduce total ownership cost.
The air bypass valve eliminates the undesirable turbo lag while blowing off compressed air between the turbo and throttle valve. Our sealing design not only replaces complex sealing solutions but also provides low friction sealing solutions using a unique process to manufacture flexible sealing components and material blends that allow for smaller solenoid actuators that have a considerable effect on overall cost.
