OmniLip® Rotary Lip Seals

Saint-Gobain High Performance Seals has a complete line of metal-cased lip seals with many PTFE and PTFE blended sealing elements.  These seals were designed to bridge the gap between conventional elastomer lip seals and mechanical face seals.  OmniLip® seals can endure hostile environments, unlike elastomer lip seals, but similar to mechanical face seals.  In addition, OmniLip seals can be manufactured at a much lower cost than mechanical face seals.  OmniLip seals exceed the performance of elastomer lip seals in the following areas:

 

  • Greater chemical resistance
  • Lower friction
  • Capable of surface speeds to 700 ft/min
  • Works to temperature extremes (-65°F to 450°F)
  • Handles pressure in excess of 500 PSID
  • Extended seal life in dry or abrasive media
  • Large diameter capability with custom designs available

OmniLip® RS Metal Cased Lip Seals

The OmniLip® RS seal line is a metal-cased lip seal that incorporates a variety of interchangeable sealing elements. This custom or standard size polymer seal can be rebuilt with new element kits.

OmniLip® Metal-Cased PTFE Lip Seals

The complete line of metal-cased lip seals offer many PTFE and PTFE blended sealing elements which are ideal for dynamic rotary sealing applications.

DynaLip® PTFE Lip Seal

This all polymer-based DynaLip® seal can be used when a traditional metal cased lip seal is not practical for the hardware configuration. This seal is available in standard or custom sizes.
