The number of actuators used on an aircraft is quite impressive and are all critical components that contribute to make flights as safe as possible.
This is true for all actuators regardless of the category they belong to: primary or secondary flight control equipment. Even though the vast majority of the market is still using hydraulic-powered actuators, the market is currently undergoing a major technology change with the adoption of electro-hydraulic (EHA) or fully electrical (EMA) equipment.
