Our OmniSeal® spring-energized seals are composed of two key parts: a Fluoroloy® polymer jacket and an energizer spring inside the jacket cavity. Made of high-performance polymer materials, they are used in ultra-low friction, chemical compatibility and extreme hot or cryogenic temperatures. Available in four different series with a standard lip or skived lip, the seals have unlimited shelf-life compared to conventional seals. The seal was originally developed in the 1950s to provide improved performance over soft elastomeric seals and hard metal gaskets in aerospace turbine engines, rockets and missiles. The critical seals were later developed to handle extreme sealing requirements in oil & gas, automotive, life sciences, industrial and electronics.

OmniSeal® RACO® Spring-Energized Seals

Polymer seals with an U-shaped spring design used in extreme face sealing conditions, including cryogenic fluids and high vacuum.

OmniSeal® 103 Spring-Energized Seals

Polymer seals with a ribbon spring design used for static/low speed applications, providing excellent leakage control at high pressure and low temperature.

OmniSeal® 400 Spring-Energized Seals

Polymer seals with a cantilever spring design used in dynamic applications, providing good friction and leakage control at moderate pressures and temperatures.

OmniSeal® APS Spring-Energized Seals

Polymer seals with a pitch spring design used for minimizing friction in dynamic applications and has a small diameter and cross section.
